Celebrex 1 Tablet
Celecoxib is used in the treatment of severe bleeding anemia (low blood pressure).
It is in an antidepressant class of drugs. It works by lowering blood levels of a chemical called a decrease in the amount of white blood cells (leukocytes) in the body.
This decrease in white blood cells causes it to make white blood cells more difficult to get rid of and thus to help with blood pressure lowered. When the blood levels are lowered the lower levels of white blood cells make blood cells more difficult to clear of the anemia (low blood pressure).
In this class of drugs it is used to treat osteoarthritis in women aged 50 years and over. It is used to treat moderate to severe pain of moderate intensity in adults.
When this drug is taken in combination with an anti-inflammatory medicine, such as ibuprofen, it is used to relieve the pain of moderate to severe osteoarthritis of the knee, wrist or spine (OA). It is used for pain in the lower back pain that is caused by the degeneration of normal blood vessels that supply the muscles around the heart (pibia and tibia).
